Baby Massage

Nurturing Touch

Baby massage classes are so much more than learning the strokes. They are about different styles of touch, movement, interaction and communication.

Infant massage has so many benefits for both mom and baby. Nurturing touch is something I really believe in and to be able to teach it in an intimate class setting is very special. I get to connect with the most wonderful women and create a space where friendships can be made. My classes are fun, relaxed and informative.

Group Classes

My classes are based in Wicklow Town and are a small group of around 5 to 6 moms which makes for a nice intimate class where everyone can really get to know each other.

The class starts at 10:30am and runs for about 90 min.  It's a really relaxed baby led class  (baby is the boss). I will provide everything you need (oils, handouts, blankets, tea/coffee and treats).

The layout is as follows:

  • Introductions followed by baby massage strokes.

  • Discuss different topics on baby massage including massages for the relief of colic/wind, benefits of infant massage, how to read your baby’s cues etc.

  • We have a tea/ cake break and photo opportunity.

  • Then we discuss other parenting topics either picked by me or someone from the group.

The 6th week is a group meetup at Wicklow Inspired Cafe.

I also offer one to one classes which can be tailored to your needs. Baby massage is really good for easing colic and reflux. The techniques can help with wind, upset tummies and also help with relaxation.

What People are saying

Jenny, Wicklow

“I couldn’t recommend Keara’s Massage class enough. Highlight of my week. My daughter loved it and so did I. Keara goes above and beyond to create a lovely. relaxing environment and I now have some great massage skills that calm my baby.”

Aisling, Wicklow

“We have just come to the end of the term of baby massage and we will both really miss it. Keara creates such a safe, warm and inviting space that I looked forward to going to each week. The class is completely baby led and Keara helps to adapt the strokes if baby would rather sit in your lap. The chats and nibbles with the other mums was also a highlight. Highly recommend!”

“Infant Massage is not a fad. It is an ancient art that connects you deeply with the person who is your baby”
